The Japanese American National Museum is dedicated to sharing the experience of Americans of Japanese ancestry.
Ongoing exhibits include Common Ground: The Heart of Community, which chronicles 130 years of Japanese American history, beginning with the early days of the Issei pioneers through the World War II incarceration to the present, and Sadako’s Crane, the paper crane made by Sadako Sasaki who passed away from radiation effects of the atomic bomb.
