Be Ready for Change 🛑✋
Parents and kids have been stuck at home together for weeks across the country, and they’re itching to get back out into the world.
Museums are reevaluating every aspect of the public environment to ensure they are providing a safe and comfortable experience. Things will be different. Scott Stulen, Director of the Philbrook Museum of Art, recently stated, “the museum we closed will not be the museum we reopen.”
When parents and kids return, they may notice changes before they go (like instituted timed tickets), when they arrive (temperature checks) and while they’re there (social distancing enforced in exhibits). We’ve compiled information from a variety of industry organizations to help parents prepare for the changes that will be instituted when museums, restaurants, and attractions re-open.
